Four dishes Mandy's regulars ask for by name — generous, hearty, and made the way you'd hope your grandmother would make them.

Grilled marble rye, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Thousand Island, piled with our house-smoked pastrami. Served with pub fries and a side of dipping sauce.
Marinated carne asada on warm corn tortillas with cilantro, onion, and house salsas — green tomatillo and red. Eugene's been calling them the best darn tacos in town.
Hand-spun chocolate malt with whipped cream and a cherry on top. The shake locals have been ordering since long before you were here.
Mandy's is a 24-hour, locally owned, family-run diner in the heart of downtown Eugene. We've been around long enough to know what neighbors want at 7am — and at 3am. Real cooking. Generous portions. Plates you don't finish.
Old-school independent diners are getting harder to find. We're trying to keep ours the kind of place where you can walk in any hour, sit at the counter, and order a full meal — meatloaf, breakfast, a slice of pie, whatever's right for the time. The menu is huge on purpose.
"Real cooking, delicious food. The breakfast tastes just as good at three in the morning as it does at noon."
— A longtime Eugene regularFeatured in That Oregon Life · 2026We pour Café Mam organic coffee. We make our own sausage gravy, our own meatloaf, our own brisket. The pies come from our oven. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options on every page of the menu.
Doors that don't lock four nights a week. The breakfast menu doesn't have a window — it's the menu. The fireplace is on, the coffee's hot, and there's a seat at the counter waiting whether it's noon or 4 a.m.
Eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits & gravy, the Rancher, scrambles, benedicts, pancakes, French toast — the whole breakfast menu is available the moment we're open. No 11am cutoff.
Owners on the floor, family in the kitchen. The same crew you saw last time. Old-school independent diner — no franchise, no corporate menu, no shortcuts on the brisket or the gravy.
Eugene-roasted Café Mam organic coffee on every table. Locally sourced ingredients where we can get them. Scratch-made pies, sausage gravy, and house-smoked brisket — not something thawed.
Real options, not afterthoughts. Vegan gravy, TLT (tempeh BLT), Garden scramble, Healthy Benedict, and gluten-free swaps available on most plates. Tell your server — we'll figure it out.

Service has always been very homey and welcoming. Very cute little place with lots of seats! Generous portions, food is tasty and hot, and the people working here are so kind. Highly recommend.
Old-school independent diners are getting harder to find. Love that you can go in and order literally a full meal anytime — meatloaf, breakfast, salmon, whatever's right for the hour. Eugene needs more of these.
Great customer service and fantastic food. The BBQ brisket panini was so big I couldn't even finish it. Mudslide for dessert. If you haven't eaten at Mandy's on Willamette, I highly suggest it.
A block south of the Hult Center, two blocks from campus. Booth seating, counter seats, fireplace, two big-screens. Walk-ins always — the door's open.
